AVICOMP is a material that we have sourced through extensive search, and found suitable to built model planes.
AVICOMP is 30% lighter to the equal thickness and dimension in balsa. It is stronger and lighter then ply and fiberglass composite planes. With AVICOMP we can build a rc plane, that is not only lighter then standard planes, but also extremely strong. No hairline cracks like on composite, and no damages occur to any surface of the plane during shipping or handling. It also can withstand a 300lbs pressure per square inch, without denting, or breaking the material.
AVICOMP can be painted or airbrushed like any other surface.
At this stage we currently will offer any planes built in AVICOMP unpainted, but primed, so when you receive the item you can paint it out of the box.
